enel italia | external relations
overview
Enel's External Relations department projects the company's image to governments, institutions, and media across three continents. Within this context, I am responsible for the creative development of advertising materials for Enel's External Relations department, covering campaigns, institutional visuals for Country Italy and international markets.
Enel, l'Italia nel mondo
institutional campaign - spring 2024
How do you tell the story of a company that electrified postwar Italy to an international institutional audience (governments, institutions, media) that often knows Enel only as an energy operator? That was the challenge of the "L'Italia nel mondo" campaign: connecting six decades of company history to today's renewable energy leadership, without falling into celebratory rhetoric.
The spot uses a sequence of employee-centred vignettes to embody the core message: Italy's story belongs to those who built it.

My role covered the production of campaign canvases and institutional posters for the External Relations offices in Rome, Brussels, and other international locations, and the management of multi-format adaptations for events and publications, including materials for the Atlantic Council Global Citizen Awards.

dalla tua parte, sempre.
commercial campaign - autumn 2024
Reposition Enel from “utility provider” to “everyday partner”, that was the strategic brief. The spot tells the story of a child returning home from school, turning an ordinary scene into an emotional discovery of how energy quietly accompanies daily life.
As art director, I ensured the campaign’s visual consistency across all channels: ATL, retail POS, digital, and a dedicated newsletter. I supervised photography on set at multiple locations, collaborating with the production and creative team.
The biggest challenge: making sure the concept of “home” translated coherently from a 60-second TV format to a store window in a small Italian town.

commercial campaign - spring 2025
The spring 2025 campaign extends the “Dalla tua parte, sempre” positioning, using the metaphor of seasonal renewal to tell the energy transition story through emotional, everyday language - away from technical jargon, close to people’s real lives.
As art director, I supervised visual consistency across ATL, OOH (including large-format billboards across Milan), digital channels, and POS materials for Enel retail stores. I managed creative development from store setups to print-ready files for external production partners.

Enel. L'energia delle emozioni.
institutional campaign - fall 2025
The institutional campaign “L’energia delle emozioni” repositions Enel not as a utility, but as the invisible energy behind everyday moments of joy. The creative concept weaves real-life scenes with Fiorella Mannoia’s music, creating a visual narrative that speaks of responsibility, care, and community.

sports sponsorship advertising
For Enel’s sports sponsorships, from FISI winter sports to football (SSC Napoli), through to the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics, the challenge was ensuring visual consistency across executions that differ by sport, format, and context.
I co-developed an internal creative toolkit with the project manager and the advertising agency that enables rapid, consistent adaptations across all channels, from print ads to digital.
brand partnerships and special projects
Enel’s cultural partnerships - from the Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome to Teatro alla Scala in Milan - required a creative approach that went beyond simple logo placement. I developed institutional advertising pages that treat sponsorship as a statement of shared values between energy and culture.
